  • Does not have a genuine intent to hire candidates through Signal Jobs
  • Directs or pressures candidates to apply externally or off-platform
  • Spams candidates with messages that contain no actionable hiring opportunity

Candidates may report employers for the conduct described above. Warnings temporarily suspend an employer’s access and clear automatically after the applicable window; repeated or severe violations may result in permanent removal from the platform.

9.3 Employer Access States

Employer accounts may be placed into one of the following access states:

  • Revoked — access has been manually removed by Signal Jobs staff, typically for compliance, legal, or contractual reasons unrelated to the warning system.
  • Expired — access lapsed due to the end of a billing subscription, tenancy period, or purchase order window. Access may be restored by renewing the applicable plan or arrangement.
  • Banned— account has been permanently removed from the platform following repeated or severe policy violations. This action is irreversible. A confirmation email is sent to the account’s primary contact when a ban is imposed.

9.4 Procedure

We may, at our sole discretion:

  • Send a warning before suspension
  • Suspend access temporarily pending review
  • Revoke access for compliance, legal, or billing reasons
  • Permanently ban accounts for repeated or severe violations
